About Me

I’m a hacker and learner. I’m currently trying to understand the dramatic change that’s happening to the way people learn, primarily in American K-12 education.

I’m the CTO at eSpark Learning, an education technology company in Chicago. We help students learn at their own pace by giving them a personalized curriculum of iPad apps, YouTube videos, and other digital content.

Previously, I managed the Mobile Platform team at Facebook, which provides distribution, payments, and tools to developers on iOS and Android devices. I also helped build Facebook Connect and the initial version of the OAuth 2.0 protocol.
